→ name . robinleaf
→ age . twenty-two moons
→ gender . she-cat
→ rank . medicine cat
→ clan . windclan
→ quick description . a thick-furred calico she-cat with brown eyes.
→ appearance . With her thick, almost unkempt fur, Robinleaf appears rather solid. However, underneath all that fur she's actually quite thin. It becomes a nuisance in the summer; all that extra heat makes her tired and rather cranky. Her fur is calico colored; orange, dark brown, and a creamy off-white. Basically most of her lower and under body is white, with patches of brown and orange here and there. The only "colored" paw is her front left; it's a pure tabby orange. Her face is dappled with orange and brown, as are her back and tail. Robinleaf, as stated before, is quite thin. Her legs are short, and thin as well. This makes it harder to run; she has to put more effort into it. She tires out easily due to her somewhat odd body form--her weak legs can't handle her weight as well as they should. All these effects are due to her mother's late pregnancy, late in her life.
→ personality . As sweet as she might seem, Robinleaf can get quite nasty. She tends to get cranky easily, and is quick to snap at cats who annoy her. Her patience runs thin with young cats; she just can't keep up with them and their playfulness. While she might enjoy playing around herself every once in a while, she's more of a serious cat that sticks to what she needs to do. Robinleaf never seems to show much emotion. She'd rather keep that to herself. To her, no one needs to know how she feels or what she wants. Her biggest "want" is to care for her Clan. Robinleaf rarely voices her opinions or thoughts. She's extremely loyal and dependent on her friends and family. Without them, and her Clan, she would probably break and be unable to do anything.
→ history . Ebonyclaw and Greywhisker fell madly in love many moons before Robinleaf and her siblings were born. They had already had several litters of kits, and Ebonyclaw was becoming old. When they realized she was pregnant once again, both cats knew it would be her last litter, and it would be a tough pregnancy. Ebonyclaw seemed to be weak all throughout her pregnancy--it was hard to eat and to move. Some thought she would die before the kits came. However, she got better, and that worry went away. Robinleaf was born, along with her siblings, who are now Briarclaw and Dappletail. Ebonyclaw's pregnancy had been late; and this produced an effect on Robinkit. She was born thin and weak, with short legs. At first, they thought she might not live. However, this was quickly washed away when she began to play with her siblings as soon as she could walk. Their mother loved them with all their heart, as did Greywhisker. However, she was constantly in and out of the Medicine Cat's den.
During this time, Robinkit and Dapplekit became increasingly curious with how herbs could actually heal their clanmates. They often traveled with their mother to the den, and learned what they could about them. While Dapplekit didn't quite understand, Robinkit seemed to quickly learn the herb's names. Both knew they wanted to be Medicine Cat one day. But only Robinkit was chosen, for she showed more promising ability. When the day came to become apprentices, Robinpaw proudly became the Medicine Cat Apprentice, while Dapplepaw looked on, envious. While she was jealous of her sister, Dapplepaw realized she'd have to bury that feeling to become a better warrior than Robinpaw would have been. Both sisters tried to show each other up, but both were pretty good at their different duties. Eventually, that died away, and they became better friends. The three siblings became closer after the two warrior apprentices' naming ceremony, even though Robinpaw wasn't exactly one of them. It was because that was was their mother died.
Robinpaw particularly felt the sorrow of their mother's death. While Ebonyclaw had definitely lived her life to the fullest, Robinpaw had been the one to watch her die. She hadn't been able to save her; greencough had taken her one cold newleaf. Everyone told her it wasn't her fault, and while a part of her believed that, another told her it was. She felt guilty, and she greatly missed her mother. However, no one could change what could happen. Robinpaw eventually began to forgive herself. When her mentor, the medicine cat, saw the change, he decided it was time for Robinpaw to become a full medicine cat. That new moon, she became Robinleaf.
It wasn't long after that, the medicine cat grew sick. He couldn't carry out his duties, and had to retire to the elder's den. The Clan respected the tom, for all he had done in his many moons. Robinleaf became the Clan's Medicine Cat, nervous, but intelligent. She was as good at the former, though she still had much to learn. Robinleaf could still learn from her retired mentor, and get help if needed. The Clan realized this; for she was a young she-cat, and still naive to many aspects of life. Just recently, her mentor died. He died peacefully in his sleep. After the Clan payed their respects, he was buried. Robinleaf felt sorrow, but none of what she had felt to her mother. She had nothing to do with this death, and it was expected. Robinleaf was at ease.
