NAME: Mottledflower
AGE: 20 moons
RANK: warrior
GENDER: she-cat
CLAN: WindClan
Mottledflower is a short-haired, calico she-cat with dull amber eyes. The majority of her body is a healthy mixture of ginger and black. She has a white chest and a dappled muzzle, the most prominent feature being a black, clover-shaped marking partially covering her nose. She is very lithe in build, but this is a mere deception. It was ironic, her leader thought, to name her Mottledflower when she was anything but a dainty, fragile flower, yet they found comfort in the irony. She did too, and she took the name proudly. Anyone who underestimated her would soon be corrected. She has long limbs that allow for swift movement across WindClan's open moorland. Although she is fast, rabbits often escape her. Her short fur makes for a poor leaf-bare coat, but the Clan often seeks refuge underground in abandoned fox dens and rabbit burrows. During greenleaf, however, her coat is perfect for those warm nights under the stars.
Mottledflower is carefree and spirited. She isn't afraid to tackle her clanmates in the middle of camp out of pure fun. She leaps at the chance for adventure and loves not knowing what the future will bring. She faces danger with a hearty laugh, almost taunting it into being. She isn't afraid to ruin her calico coat, she isn't afraid to fight for what she believes in, and she isn't afraid of anyone or anything. She is fearless, which can sometimes be very, very bad.
It's good for a cat to be afraid; it's healthy. But Mottledflower laughs in the face of fear. She can sometimes be conceited and overconfident in her abilities, coming across as arrogant and haughty to those who don't know her. She doesn't let this bother her, instead choosing to ignore the thoughts of her clanmates and focus on what makes her happy.
She has little patience for trivial matters and is very straightforward if you ask her a question. She is very blunt in her answers, telling you things as she sees them. If she doesn't like you, she isn't afraid to tell you. She lives her life without regrets, which has shaped her into a formidable opponent in battle.
She is quick and sharp-minded, a cat you wouldn't want to meet in battle. Her name is deceiving; a flower? She is anything but. She is fiercely loyal and fiercely unforgiving. If you trespass into her territory - if you take WindClan as a clan of fools - you are sorely mistaken. She can make you regret ever having been born in a matter of seconds. She can make you pray to StarClan that she spares your life. She likes to play around and have fun, but she does not allow for mistakes when it comes to the safety of her Clan.
Her strength in battle is something that does not transfer well into other areas. As an apprentice - and even as a warrior - Mottledflower struggled with hunting. She anticipated movement too soon, attacking the place where she thought her prey would be by the time she leaped at it. A tactic that would work well in battle did not work well when hunting, and she had a hard time understanding that. She still often misses her prey,
Maybe it is partly due to her short attention span. The leaves distract her; the sounds of the birds flying above distract her. She can never focus on one thing for too long except for the thing she loves most: battle. She isn't bloodthirsty, no. She feasts on the adrenaline rush she gets from fighting, the high it brings her. She couldn't feel happier than when she's in battle; she doesn't think it's possible. She feels indestructible in battle, though she knows this is not a true statement. Her confidence is sure to be her downfall, the only question is... when?
She often finds herself in the medicine cat's den. Not because she is often sick or injured, but merely because she enjoys the company of Robinleaf, who is only two moons older than she.
Mottledflower has lived a normal life. She was the firstborn of a pair of warriors who loved each other dearly and continued to have several more litters after her. She had a brother and a sister, but both did not seem to care for her much. Maybe it was because she was always getting into trouble as a kit yet making up for it by her quick, intelligent responses; she doesn't know. Either way, she tends to ignore her siblings when she sees them, instead choosing to focus on becoming the best warrior she can be.
