The deputy's white paws grazed the RiverClan camp soil in a quick pace as she awaited the return of her leader from the gathering. He had instructed her to bring the clan home, which she did, but now he was taking longer than Hollowsky had expected and she was now beginning to panic. What if something happened to him? she thought, the mere thought of something happening to Shadestar completely frightening her to death. I can't even fathom leading RiverClan, or losing Shadestar!
Other warriors of the clan that would pass by the white colored deputy would try and soothe her nerves, telling her that Shadestar was fine and was just taking a stroll through the territory. This did not help her nerves at all, only made her more anxious for her leader to arrive through the camp entrance. Hollowsky kept her eyes pinned to the entrance itself, waiting to see the black pelted leader appear through them. Why had he turned back, anyways? Why couldn't he have just returned to the camp with the rest of the clan? Stubborn Shadestar.
Hollowsky couldn't resist her pacing back and forth. It was something she couldn't control, and something did only when she was anxious and nervous. Her white tail flicked back and forth as well, trailing behind her pearly white body. Her multi colored eyes however stayed fixed on the entrance. Hollowsky couldn't help but see the worst in situations like these. She refused to get her hopes high and only to see them crushed.
The frost colored deputy jumped towards the entrance as she saw the RiverClan leader emerge through the growth. "Shadestar!" she meowed, desperately trying to read the expression on his face.
